About Feedframe

Feedframe is a plugin for Framer, made by Framer Geeks (framergeeks.com). It lets a business connect its own Instagram professional account and show its latest posts as a feed on its Framer website. This policy explains what data Feedframe uses, why we use it, and how you can remove it.

Data We Collect

When you connect an Instagram account through the official Instagram API, we receive:

Profile information: Instagram user ID, username, name, profile picture, account type, follower count and post count.

Post information: post ID, image or video link, thumbnail, caption, post link, date, media type, like count and comment count.

An access token that lets Feedframe read this information. We never see or store your Instagram password.

If you buy a paid plan, we also keep your email address and licence details to manage your plan and give support. Payments are handled by our payment provider, and we never store card details.

How We Use Your Data

We use this data for one purpose only: to show your own Instagram profile and posts in the feed you place on your Framer website, and to keep that feed up to date. Visitors of your website see the posts you have already published publicly on Instagram, and each post links back to Instagram.

We do not post, edit, delete or send messages on your behalf. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling, and we never sell it.

How We Store and Protect Data

Access tokens are stored encrypted on our servers and are never placed in your website code. Post data is cached on our servers for a few hours so your feed loads fast, then refreshed from Instagram. Images are loaded directly from Instagram.

Who We Share Data With

We do not share your Instagram data with third parties. We use trusted hosting providers to run our servers, and they only process data on our behalf.

How Long We Keep Data

We keep your data only while your Instagram account is connected to Feedframe. When you disconnect it, remove Feedframe from your Instagram settings, or ask us to delete your data, we delete the access token and all cached profile and post data within 30 days, usually right away.

Your Rights and Choices

You can disconnect your account at any time in the Feedframe plugin, or in Instagram under Settings and activity, then Website permissions, then Apps and websites. You can also ask us for a copy of your data, a correction or deletion. Step by step instructions are on our data deletion page: framergeeks.com/feedframe/data-deletion.

Children

Feedframe is a tool for businesses and is not meant for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when Feedframe changes. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
