A Privacy First Alternative To Google's Checkbox
hCaptcha does the same job as reCAPTCHA - it confirms a submission came from a person - but it does not tie your visitors to a Google account. On sites with European traffic or a privacy conscious audience, that difference matters.
How It Works
Create a site in the hCaptcha dashboard, choose the Checkbox type, add your domain and copy the site key. Paste it into the component and place the component inside your Framer form. The form will not submit until the visitor ticks the box.
Where To Use It
Contact and enquiry forms, newsletter signups, quote requests, and any form that has started collecting junk entries.
Good To Know
Light and dark themes are both supported, so the widget sits correctly on either background. Only the site key is needed - there is nothing else to configure once your domain is registered.
What You Need
A free hCaptcha account and a site key from dashboard.hcaptcha.com. You add your Framer domain there, pick the Checkbox type and copy the key across. It takes a couple of minutes.
